The Jajoo Journey

Jajoo began with a search for meaning. After 30 years as an IT consultant, Andreas Wezler traded Berlin's winters for the warmth of Bali — though the journey was anything but direct: cancelled flights, a sleepless bus ride and 20 hours of travel later, he found something richer than sunshine: the genuine joy and authenticity of Indonesia's people.

Through Meisya, a hotel manager from Bandung, Indonesia's rich tapestry unfolded: 17,000 islands, 270 million lives, and centuries of tradition, artistry and craftsmanship. Together they knew it had to be shared — and Jajoo was born.

What We Do

Rooted in authenticity, tradition and joy, we work with family workshops and artisans across Indonesia to bring you authentic handmade objects that tell a story. From carved wood and hand-painted batik enamelware to woven textiles and a small line of accessories, every piece is made by hand, preserves a craft and brings beauty into your home. Our mission is simple:

Our Logo

Our logo is simple yet deeply meaningful. It is inspired by one of the oldest batik symbols from Yogyakarta: the palm fruit and the coconut. This timeless symbol stands for heritage, philosophy and history — resilience like the enduring palm, continuity across generations, and abundance that nourishes body and spirit.

One Brand, Two Homes

Jajoo is carried by two companies acting as one: Jajoo GmbH in Berlin — the brand's European home and operator of jajoo.de — and Jajoo Pte. Ltd. in Singapore, our company for the Asia-Pacific region, anchoring Jajoo where our story begins: close to the workshops and artisans of Indonesia.
