Jajoo comes from the name of my beloved grandmother, Yayu. We chose this name because she represents everything our brand stands for warmth, strength, grace, and love for heritage. In Javanese culture, Yayu symbolizes a woman who is gentle yet resilient, elegant yet grounded, and deeply connected to her roots. Through Jajoo, we honor her legacy and the timeless values she passed down: appreciating beauty in simplicity, preserving culture with pride, and creating with heart. Every piece we make carries a touch of that same spirit a tribute to the women who inspire us, and to the art and stories of Indonesia that continue to live on through each creation..
