Chapter 1
The Craft
Batik is more than a pattern — it is a script. Drawn in hot wax, dipped in natural dyes, layer upon layer: a technique UNESCO recognizes as a Masterpiece of the Intangible Heritage of Humanity.
Alongside batik, our pieces carry the carving art of Yogyakarta, the weaving traditions of Nusa Tenggara, and the basketry of West Java — each region with its own hand.
Chapter 2
The Workshops
Behind every Jajoo piece stands a family with a name. Workshops where parents train their children, where tools are inherited, and where a piece takes as long as it takes — not as long as a quota allows.
We work with these workshops directly and at fair terms, and we speak openly about our path toward independent fair-trade verification.

The Journey
From a workshop in Java to your door: wrapped in protective, recyclable materials, shipped directly, and traceable to the hands that made it.
